# PHP apps

> One-click PrestaShop, Moodle, Joomla, Mautic, Akaunting, Craft CMS and Statamic — installation, admin login, updates and scheduled tasks.

These apps install as PHP sites on the server's web stack. Each install:

1. picks the newest PHP version installed on the server that the app supports (install it in the [web stack](/docs/web-stack) first if needed),
2. creates a MariaDB database and owner (installing MariaDB if the server has none; Statamic needs no database),
3. downloads the app's **latest stable release** from its official source and runs the app's own installer with a generated administrator account,
4. issues the HTTPS certificate and adds the app's scheduled task when it has one.

The site row then shows **Admin panel** and **Show admin login**. Sign in, then change the password in the app if you prefer your own.

After installation the app is yours: it **updates itself** from its own administration (Zefily does not redeploy it, so your data and extensions are never overwritten). Back up the site and its database before updating — see [Backups](/docs/backups).

## The apps

| App | What it is | PHP | Admin panel | Sign in with |
| --- | --- | --- | --- | --- |
| PrestaShop | E-commerce store | 8.1 | `/admin…` (a random name) | your email address |
| Moodle | Learning platform | 8.2–8.4 | `/login/index.php` | `admin` |
| Joomla | Content management system | 8.1–8.4 | `/administrator` | `admin` |
| Mautic | Marketing automation | 8.1–8.3 | `/s/login` | `admin` |
| Akaunting | Accounting | 8.1–8.3 | `/` | your email address |
| Craft CMS | Content management system | 8.2–8.4 | `/admin` | `admin` |
| Statamic | Flat-file CMS (no database) | 8.2–8.5 | `/cp` | your email address |

### PrestaShop

Installs the newest PrestaShop **8.2** release (PrestaShop 9 is not published as a downloadable package). The installer folder is removed and the admin folder gets a random name for security — use **Admin panel** to open it. PrestaShop 8.2 needs PHP 8.1: install it from **Show older versions** in the web stack.

### Moodle

Installs the latest Moodle 5.0 release. Course files live in a `moodledata` folder outside the web root (in the site's shared directory). The site's PHP pool gets 512 MB of memory and 5000 input variables, which Moodle requires, and Moodle's **cron runs every minute**.

### Joomla

Installs the latest stable Joomla full package; the `installation` folder is removed after setup.

### Mautic

Installs the latest Mautic release with 512 MB of PHP memory. Its segment, campaign and email commands run **every 5 minutes**. Configure your email transport in Mautic's settings before sending campaigns.

### Akaunting

Installs the latest Akaunting with your organization name as the company; Laravel's scheduler runs every minute for recurring invoices and reminders.

### Craft CMS

Creates a Craft project with Composer, sets its security key and database, and runs `craft install`. The web root is `web/`.

### Statamic

Creates a Statamic site with Composer. Content is stored in files, so there is no database; your administrator account is created as a super user.

## Scheduled tasks

Apps with background work get a [cron entry](/docs/cron-and-daemons) named after the app and domain. Do not delete it; pause it with **Enabled** if you need to.

## Moving an existing installation

To move an app you already run elsewhere, add a plain **PHP** site instead, copy its files over SFTP, [import its database](/docs/databases) and update its configuration file with the new database credentials.
