# Performance and autotune

> Settings for nginx, PHP-FPM, OPcache, the database, Valkey and the kernel computed from your server's hardware.

**Performance** shows the profile Zefily sees — CPU cores, memory, disk, PHP workers, PHP sites and services — and tunes the server for it.

## Autotune

Autotune computes nginx, PHP-FPM, OPcache, database, Valkey and kernel settings from the server's hardware and the services that run on it.

1. **Compute plan** lists every change: file, setting, current and new value.
2. **Apply** writes them. Every file is validated first, services are reloaded and health-checked, and everything is rolled back automatically if a check fails.
3. **Roll back** returns to the settings before the last apply.

## Automatic tuning

With **Automatic tuning** on, Zefily recomputes and applies the tuning when the web stack is installed and whenever a site is added or removed, with the same checks and automatic rollback.

## Per-site limits

Autotune sizes the shared pools. Each PHP site's own memory limit, upload size, execution time and other `php.ini` values are on its PHP pane — see [PHP settings](/docs/php-settings). Page and object caching are per site too — see [Access, caching and protection](/docs/access-and-caching).
